maybe you should add a background colour, like greyish-black or something? and the image is unprofessionally done, like it's supposed to be a tiled wallpaper but you used it alone kinda thing. I do like the navigation hearts, but they don't match. Good try though.

I don't know if it's just me, but the main image kinda looks like it's been cut off or something, where the brushes are, but it's still a job well done! (: pretty brushes, lovely colours!

btw, I think the background should be placed closer to the edges, because the way it fades out looks kinda awkward if you place it too far in ^^

I think you've achieved that simple but beautiful effect, lovely colours and image!

the navigation works, just that I -think- you might have put in the wrong codes and stuff also, the body text is a tad too light and faint (the colour, that is) so it's a little difficult to read. Otherwise, I think it's professionally done!
