all about carsi-warsi&&hi, i'm known online as cars. I'm basically a new designer here. Well. NO. Old, actually, but you'll never (really, now) know who I was then. *muahahaha* I've created a new account not because I had haters in my last account (I actually don't have) but because I wanted a rebirth in designing. I wanted to deviate from my style, although I'm sure *that* style will always be with me -- it's just that I wanted to break free from my usual style and develop it. New blogskin life for me :D HAHA.

how she rates and commentsI don't really have this solid criteria for rating, but I always (or usually) look at these factors:

color - header, background, blockquote, bold, italize, underline, fonts.. yes YOU NAME IT! I critic anything that has customizable colors because I believe that all these factors are included in designing a skin.

size - i always tend to compare the size of the background, the header and the font. i also believe that every factor of this should be criticized because you, the designer, can change it.. and it's your *calling* to change them to fit the layout.

concept - the concept is one of the most important factors to consider -- the theme of the layout should fit.

originality - we're here not just to design, but to create a name for ourselves, and NO, not popularity, but a name meaning, your own style. :)


now, don't come bashing around my doorstep and calling me names because I rated you unfairly. Also, don't think that I comment based on my layouts. Just as you, I am imperfect. That's why we're here right? To improve who we are as amateur designers.
