Say you love ohmeme @ http://eclair-x.blogspot.com. :DClaire, Eclair, Eclair-x, your mother, Grand Highness of the Entire Universe, whatever you wish to acknowledge her as. Just don't misspell her name/s, dammit. Blogskins.com-wise, respects people who introduce & reinvent new blogskin styles & trends. Dislikes losers whose lifelines seem to depend on straight 5-star streaks. Isn't it sad, when to a number of pitiable existences, ratings & SOTD achievements matter more than whether people actually use & sincerely enjoy their creations?
tools of the trade
Thus far I have been using Paint and Microsoft Powerpoint for all my skins, have had FotoBatch 5.0.3 since A Picturesque Score of Passing Fantasy, & HP Photosmart Premiere since Unfolding Fantasies. I do not possess any form of Photoshop whatsoever, so please do not raise questions like, "where you get your brushes from leh?", and maybe you should think twice before giving comments like, "heh nice brushes you've used!". Things like that remind me of my lack of desired equipment make me feel small. :'(
ain't no 5-star rating machine
Actually, I give 5 stars to almost all of the skins I rate, because I rock & I am (or at least try to be) lenient. If I'll have to go any lower than that, it means that your skin has one flaw too many to be ignored. But of course, it comes along with (hopefully) constructive comments, defined by my personal opinions & views. And please, don't hate my guts just because I refused to acquiesce in the silly little 5star-for-all fad followed by many to raise their own prevalence. I don't bother myself much with skins I would have to give lower than 5 stars, because I am too lazy to explain myself to people who wouldn't give a damn anyway. Furthermore, I have no need for debates against, & no time enlightening ratings-obsessed freaks.
