try putting the navis at the rose part. it might be better. i thought it lacks colors.

probably with a dull background color might brighten up the overall look.

i rather love the color combination.

Might look better if the font size for the entries are smaller.

If there is a fixed width, parallel to your posts', for your top bar would be better. (:

I'd prefer if you had a fixed height for the navi top. It's irritating with the thing going up and down.

You need more padding. Probably increase to above 10. Other than that. I'll say I like the whole thing. (:
