Amazing! Finally, a blogskin that is worthy of SOTD. Well done! I think the 'open/close' function for the music player is very clever :)... The rollovers are also very nice, a job well done! xxx

Things are getting out of hand. I am not judging your character by any means. What I was trying to say is, if you are going to contribute to a graphic design based community, you might want to learn the basics of web/graphic design first. That "3 font rule" applies to every aspect of design that contains typography. It doesn't matter if it is on blogskins.com or elsewhere. It's part of a universal set of design guidelines. (You might want to do some research on it - search "design elements and principles"). Yes, people can break the rules but that doesn't make it acceptable. This is just a judgement on your design. Everyone else decided to take it further and make it about your character. It's a design community, people should stick to design-based comments. By the way, you should not misconstrue people's comments. No one called you a "b_tch" ... You said it yourself. We're just providing you with comments to improve on your design skills for the future.

Lol. Unlike you, my prime concern is not wasting my time creating blogskins for people and asking them to rate. I make blogskins for my own purpose. I'm just here to provide constructive criticism. Clearly, receiving SOTD has gotten to your head... I couldn't care less about the fact that you've received SOTD twice! My main issue is your lack of ability to design. Poor design should not be rewarded. Besides, the system is clearly screwed up, why would I bother trying to 'score myself a SOTD'? It's child's play.

Hey Victoria! :)
I think this is a lovely blogskin. It's minimal and has a nice, even mix of design and function. It actually is rather appealing for those who want to focus more on the content than the objects surrounding it. The formatting is quite lovely, really admirable. Nice work :D

Well in response, any good graphic designer knows all about the design elements and principles. Clearly you remain oblivious to these elements and principles. There has always been a 'rule' in tact about font faces, and anyone with an eye for good design would know in a split second how much those three fonts clash with each other. They aren't just fonts. You obviously don't understand the hard labor people go through in order to make them and you clearly don't understand the difference between good quality fonts and cheap, free fonts that look horrible. Digressing, a good web designer takes criticism and puts it to good use and your rudeness clearly indicates how much a novice you truly are. We're all just providing our opinion, and besides, you asked for comments. Don't go pushing people away once they give them.

To be honest, I don't really think this is deserving of SOTD. You've completely broken the rules of good web design by using over 3 types of font faces. The image quality could be better, and the CSS could be improved greatly. To be honest I can't really say much more about this other than the fact that it's pretty much sore on the eyes. I won't rate it because you would probably try to hunt me down for it. Just a few pointers for next time. Nice try anyway, and I hope I wasn't too harsh. Just my honest opinion :)

Hi there! This is a nice layout you have there - although I'd like to comment on a few things :) The two bars at the top and bottom are different shades - the top is a dark grey, the bottom is a light grey. I feel that there is no unity between them. Also you've employed a number of different fonts throughout the layout ranging from Courier New, Tahoma and then Georgia. I think at best it should be two fonts maximum... With this it seems a little out of place because you are switching between serif and sans-serif. Anyway, just my constructive criticism!
Nice job, anyway :)

This is a good rendition of the common Blogger layouts in this community. I quite like the overlaps, they are very interesting. A clean, simplistic layout. Nice one!

A very nice layout! You've used colours very well. I quite prefer it without the text on the image, actually. Job well done :)

Till the end

Personally, I wouldn't use this blogskin for a number of reasons:

1) It is a little bland - there is no distinct part of this skin that gives it any sort of wow factor.

2) The design principles haven't been used very well. Personally it's quite sore on the eye because you've used about 4 different typefaces. The CSS is bland, there's no emphasis on blog headings and the odd hill pattern you've got going in the header just offsets the entire skin. (The way the line of dots just cuts off at the top right is a little odd and could be improved).

3) The CSS. The body text - Trebuchet MS - is set at such a small size with such small line spacing that it makes it hard to read. I don't think anyone would want to read large blocks of text when it is set at such a typeface at such a small size. The links could probably be improved - maybe set at the same font as the rest of the text. The sidebar headers could be set as the same header title as the body - it is a little odd when you have a font for "till the end" and then trebuchet for the body and verdana/tahoma for the blogtitles... Waaay too many typefaces for any sort of unity to happen.

Anyway I hope you don't take any offence to this critique. I congratulate you on your achievement nonetheless :)
