maybe you should have changed the picture's demensions a little so it wouldn't horizontally scroll. And the text is a bit hard to read with it ghosted out so far. Definitely not a page for people with bad eyesight.

Oh that is terribly hard to read red on purple like that... why don't you make the text area 30% or 40% white behind the words so you can read what is being posted. Also, I could barely tell what each link is. it's Very difficult to see. And who's artwork is that? I am sure THEY would want the credit that is duely owed to them. (and you say NO COPYRIGHT on the opening page?!?!? I bet the artist would beg to differ)(it also looks like the artwork was for a different layout) I think if you change those things, then I'll rate it... I don't want to take a chance and rate too low right now.

I would normally give a 4 for a layout like this but there are 2 main reasons for judging it a 2. Here they are:

1. The picture is blurry. Why is it blurry? It's because you had to take a screenshot of it. Why a Screenshot? Because SpongebobWorld.com doesn't allow right clicking of their graphics. So you used a poor screenshot and shrunk it down to fit your layout. Without permission.

2. You credited the wrong company! The picture is from Nick.com, not SpongebobWorld.com. They may have had to get permission from Nick.com to even use it. (which is why they have no rightclicking!) You colored over the Nick.com logo and then credited SpongebobWorld for a Nick.com graphic.

Sorry, but those are real pet peeves of mine.

malki the text boxes fit fine when viewing in 1028 x 768 settings (I only make layouts in those screen settings... why? because I don't want to fuss with other people's settings)

If you read what I wrote above (which means you OBVIOUSLY didn't!)... You'd see that there is an issue with this layout and Blogskins.com. But you didn't read what I posted to see that, DID you?

Yeah, you're 17. You're only 10 years younger than I am. Don't attribute mediocrity with age. I was much more advanced with a computer (design-wise) at your age than you seem to be right now. You need to start designing outside of the box. Photo manipulation, more precise paintshop techniques... search for some good design freebies to work with online... it will open a whole new world for you.
