But anyway, do take note of the font type you use. Good luck on your next skin!

1) The fonts are a bit big for the content area and they are also a bit faint.
2) The background's really distracting.
3) I like the link hovers.

Overall: Not bad, but hoping to see improvements. 5 stars for the effort.

I think the fire should have been put at the bottom instead. Now it looks like a white band passing through and I can't see some of the words, especially since the background scolls as you scroll down. Also, try using more interesting fonts since this is Green Day you're skinning about.

If I remember correctly, usually the 3 font faces rule applies to professional websites because too many fonts will cause the person to lose interest. Our eyes are obviously not designed to stare at a bunch of pixels for that long and the variety might just affect people's eyes even more. I think the rule was never really stated outwardly on blogskins.com, it was more of a general trend then anything. |:

However since this is for a (presumably) personal blog I don't think it really matters since personal blogs are more touch-and-go. If however someone were to use this for a blog shop then the above paragraph implies, unless you wouldn't mind people editing the codes further and changing the fonts.

Anyway, I think this is nice but as the others have stated, image quality can be improved. Try saving your images in PNG next time. I'm not going to comment on whether this was a deserved SOTD or whatever because frankly the SOTD system isn't what it used to be.
