do you know that there are different ways of creating a blogskin?


1. create blogskin
by creating a whole new design
using purely brushes
or the designer's own art.



2. making use of others' picture to
set a theme and
create a blogskin by
manipulating the picture.


3. creating a blogskin
purely by using
codes and
without a picture.



guess which category i belong to?
i belong to the 2nd category.



i make use of picture i browse on the net to give me inspirations.
i enjoy playing around with the pictures and sourcing for suitable picture after i have a theme in mind. sometimes when i randomly see a picture, it strikes me and i just want to make a blogskin using that picture.
then i like to challenge myself by creating a theme for that picture i found.



i don't say that the other options are the wrong way of creating a blogskin,
cause it all comes down to the designer's preference of creating the blogskin.
which ever method use to create a blogskin, it should all be graded equally.



some may say that using pictures to create a blogskin?
isn't that taking the credit of the picture.
because many of times, it is the picture that attracts the attention.
but think about it, the designer has to source the picture, create a theme for the picture and manipulate it until it stand out or has a nice feel.



so whatever you do, respect the designer.


and to all designers, do credit the picture. ^^
