So please, random blogskinners, don't come running to my blog and telling me how my skins are so terrible and I shouldn't have given you whatever score I gave you.

I never said: My skin is really sweet and superb and superior to all other blogskinners'! either.

I repeat, I rate honestly.

Secondly, please don't email me explaining that the faults I pointed out in your skin are non-existent, because I have functional eyes and hands and, in case some random blogskinner don't know, a brain as well. I can see with my eyes that the image quality isn't all that good or that the colours clash quite badly. I can type that out and tell you that maybe you should choose another colour. My brain can ensure that my ratings would be, at the very least, logical.

If I think the supposedly wonderful colour scheme of your blogskin isn't that great, that's just my opinion, you don't need to bsmail me thrice telling me that you spent two hours carefully selecting the colours.

Come on, at least make the lie a little more believable. You're just exhibiting your extreme stupidity by spending two hours choosing some colours for your brilliant, impeccable blogskin.

Conclusively: People, please rate honestly. Don't artifically inflate others' ratings and cause the SOTD standard to slide down further more. Its current state is more than pathetic.

Also, don't run around telling people not to rate if they are not giving five stars. You don't submit your skin to get a perfect rating. You don't submit your skin to lecture people on how not to criticize your skin. You submit your skin to get a honest rating, and learn how to improve it further.

Would you really feel contented if you tell everyone to rate your skin only if they give you a five? How would you know how to improve?

Its the same thing as mass-downloading. You mass-download it, have a magnificent download number of 1000+ in a matter of minutes, and get SOTD.

Would you truly feel contented if you did that?
