If I were a young, funky teenage girl I'd probably have this. But I'm not and the hot background doesn't work for my visitors. Sorry, but I think you do the muted shades best. Hey - we all like to try something different.

Bright backgrounds with stark text look hip and cool but aren't very user friendly when someone is reading your blog, unless you post very little. Try a variation on the colour and it would work better.

A stylish skin - great! Picture is clearer than some of your others, sharper and better use of colours.
