you can try to make the image and the entry box of the same width. add a border around the image. i would make the blogskin look more consistent.

overall its still nice

the fonts are nice.

maybe you can put the background fill colour as black.

if you wanna make some words more striking (like bold, italic), you can try yellow.

btw for my most recent blogskin, yes, i was inspired by your blogskin. i saw it, and i love♥ it. but my blogskin is like a compilation of other ideas which i've seen in the past (skins from 2007 i think).
