speaking of that, i wonder when the free hosts such as geocities (and a couple more that people use that 'way around' with) will crack down on it? it seems to be relatively common.

it repeats everything between and tags, as that is where the posts would go, and the tags are used to generate the necessary code to display each individual post. so the tags should only surround the part of your code that directly deals with a post, nothing else.
