Okay, Since I don't make skins myself I think I can see this from an unbiased point of view.

'The BlogSkins Skin Of The Day is determined automatically at the end of every day. Through a top-secret algorithm, it attempts to find the best skin submitted for every day that BlogSkins has been in existence.'

Because of this, my jaw, like many people's, dropped when I saw this skin as sotd-- I'd viewed it and didn't really take notice. So when I saw this as sotd, I was like, HUH???

but after thinking about it, I sort of think sweet-melodix deserves it. I mean, thisskin may be her first but you can see she put her heart in it & she didn't do anything horrible like rip completely from another skinner or submit a crap skin. Yes, it may look amateur compared to the more experienced skinners-- but at least she's trying harder and harder each time-- take a look at her latest skins, dears.

Besides, it's like, completely not her fault. As the description above says, it's decided by BLOGSKINS. sweet-melodix doesn't seem like someone who would bribe the head (and neither does the head seem like someone who would accept bribes) and besides, I believe the people behind the decision have their own reasons-- and you have to respect it instead of blaming someone who didn't do anything except for submit her skin so as to improve upon her skills.

Think about it, people, and stop give this girl a hard time. Just like you don't like people to make personal attacks, I'm sure sweet melodix doesn't enjoy it too.

and look, she even tried to update her skin when she could have left it like that. it just shows how dedicated she is to making blogskins. can all of you be less harsh on her?

and yeah, girl, keep on improving, okay?
