tjaptjay: What I actually meant was, I do not expect you to tell me "the image is too big" on this skin itself. If you really think so, you can say something more constructive, like perhaps "Next time try creating smaller images to suit smaller resolutions" or something of that sort. By simply saying "I think the image is too big", it's like you are telling me to make the current image used smaller; which is impossible because it'll be resized & blurred which destroys the quality, besides, it was made that way. I suggested that you should email me personally because I do not want you to flood this comments page with YOUR comments. Pls note that this page is for MY skins, not yours (though I don't own this site). If you're unhappy with whatever I say, then just leave it. Anyway I don't care what you think anymore. By making such a big fuss here you're no different from being "childish". Let's face it, you're simply upset I red-flagged you because of your rating & comments. Since you "dont expect me to change anything for you", why bother leaving down those comments about the image being too big? By saying that, you're implying I should make changes. Well again, I apologize if you don't meant it that way. Whatever it is, this is getting nowhere. Don't bother replying because I will just ignore you.

well, i believe you're not a dumb person. by saying that i think the image is too big is basically implying that i dont think it balances well with the rest of the skin. i wont ask you to make smaller image, because who am i to tell you what to do? i just rate what i find intriguing and are PUBLICIZED on blogskins. i wont email you personally either because the problem arose in a public space and will be limited to it. if you dont like people rebuking you, then dont go around scolding people because you're not happy with the way they rate. you just cant force people to do what you want as i dont expect you to change anything for me.

tjaptjay: You mentioned you take commenting seriously, so do I. I take pride in what I design. I don't think the image being too big is a fault on its own. You can still view it nevertheless, so what's the problem here? To you, you may think you're commenting very fairly (so do some other people out there). But think about it, do you think I will resize the image used in this skin just because you think the image is too dominant? There's a reason why I state all that I stated in my description. The least you can do is to comment & not rate if you really have something to say. If you insist, the most you can do to help me is to suggest that I can create smaller images next time or something, not by saying "the image is too big". What's done is done. Anyway, if you want to continue rebuking me, I suggest you email me personally instead of flooding this page. Seriously, if you can't design well, and you know it yourself, I don't think you're in much of a position to find faults in my designs. Just my 2cents.

you're right, in my own skins, my image are too big, that's why i said i'm not a good designer. but i take commenting seriously and people acknowledged that by saying i made fair comments. of course you can make anything you want and no one will stop you, but (once again!) since you're on public site, you have to learn to take criticism. that doesnt mean you have to change your style for anyone if you believe it is the best. but you cant stop people from rating you the way they think fair. myles made this rating device precisely so OTHER PEOPLE can rate your work. so i wish you the best on making skins, but i suggest you dont go around raising hell to people who dont rate the way you want. you'll make alot of enemies this way.
