nice blending work. yes rather pixelated.
try duplicating then gaussian blurring the base. while changing the duplicated layer to overlay.
it would help a tad, though the colors and luminosity might change.

the picture is seriously very pixellated,did u enlarge it?leave it in the original size if u did.or u could find better pictures.
the bottom of the layout do look cut off,blend it in.

the best way to avoid pixelation is to start with an image that is as big if not bigger than what you want the final result to be. so, if you're doing a piece that will wind up being roughly 600x600, start off with something 600x600 or higher. if you were to start with a small 300x300 image, you'd have to stretch and manipulate it, creating the pixelation. good luck.
