You know what paperlove, well I don't know who comments most of the time but I always see you guys commenting stuff and putting yourself down, like " i think this skin is just not really that good enough to be sotd?" Woah if you ask me, you're really lucky. Cos you don't have to wreck your brains to try and figure out whether "Will people like this?" or "Do people think it's too simple?" or "Hmm are my colours matching well?"

All you have to do,
is follow the advice, & you'll get these people's "votes" for you as well. And I'm sure after making these changes, your fans would STILL love your skins! :] Try catering to as many people as you can, don't you think? That's what Blogskins is about anyway!

Oh and I really think you should make skins FF compatible, it doesn't take long, but fuck yeah it's worth it!

For the skin:
Personally, I don't think this deserves to be SOTD. It's nothing to do with the style or with class or WHATEVER, I just think there were better skins than this on that day. And I personally feel that you got your SOTD through pure popularity. (I do hear you're quite hot at the moment)

Your other skins are much more fabulous! I really hope you return to those type of skins instead of these Icon Skins. It doesn't show off your skinning talent at all! Which I believe you actually have, (seeing from all your other beautiful SOTDs)

1. The links are barely visible.
2. The positioning of the icons made it look as if the alignment is off.
3. The colour of the icons. It is really very ... not compatible with the background colour.
4. The format of the skin is really very common. :/ Expected more from you.
Your other skins are normally more gorgeous than this .

I know I might sound harsh. but thats how I felt about the overall of the skin.

No matter how beautiful your picture are, unreadable fonts, links that are hard to find are characteristic of bad design. Even though blog is a 1 page site, it's still a webpage where people use their eye to read. This has nothing to do with taste. Bad design has nothing to do with like or dun like... I hope u understand wat i'm trying to say..

But maybe becos like what robox say, it's a sotd, if the standard of this skin is not there, it also brings down the standard of blogskins.com.

i do not like your icons, the selection of colour you chose requires more outburst of it. And the icon image itself, look stretched and the colouring was not good. fonts selected were the best though.
