i would prefer you placing the design on top of the posts and aboutme etc sections, rather than beside.. since part of it is already overlapped though translucently.

and most importantly, try to blend the words more, add shadows, use a more fanciful font, etc etc...

and i believe it would be gorgeous after u've done all that =D

but overall, its not bad =D
