make effort to do something to the picture.
even tho you dont have PS, some people used paint and still, produced great skins.
you shld try that out.
even tho you might find it plain, some fonts at dafont can serve as brushes.
wingdings, which might be in your comp alr can also serve as decorative purpose.

wow its too simple lahs... i mean.. u cnt just put a pic and submit it as a skin... its too simple le... maybe try brushing the pics, and adding some slogans with it to make the skin more wholesome? see, the pic's very meaningful... if u can think outofthebox and think out of some slogans that can fit that pic.. then it would portray what u wanna say for the pic more easily

the simplicity works! but maybe play around with the image a little. and the place to click could be bit more centralized or something. so easier to find? haha. yep. thats my two cents worth. =)
