colour is awesome, with the black borders and stuff. it actually made the skin more outstanding in my opinion.

to add on to xpg point,

the contrast is far TOO great. try using something like 7c7d7e or even lighter then that.
if you think that would contrast the skin too much, lower the tone of the skin too. too much contrast within the skin. and there could be some more color then white,grey,black.

if colors are too striking, try using dark colors or pastel ones. it would aid in spicing up the skin.

the coding is a big problem too. it should be improved to suit the skin. i do not know if the codings are the same as the past skins, but i feel that a better coding would suit this skin better. i feel that the codes feel a little shabbily in contrast to the near-perfect image.

You ought to feel honoured, this is going to be the first skin that I am commenting for the past 8 months, ever since I was nominated FC and the changing of accounts thrice.

So let me state my opinion about this skin [disregarding the compatibility error].

Image is done nicely and the font and its size are very well planned. Very good effort for that.

However...
1. As what RAdesigns has said, stripes are risky to do. You either produce a masterpiece or you make a total shit out of it. Your work is very hurting to the eyes, it does not help when the whole colour scheme of the skin is only kept to grey, white and black. Your skin completely turned me off because of the huge contrast.

Do you know that how many shades of grey are there? More than 100.

There's no wrong sticking to only a few colours in your work, but do remember that there is not only a shade of a certain colour. Dare to experiment.

And I think those skinners who commented before RAdesigns are materialistic.

I won't give comments like "nice very nice." I might as well don't give and rate.
Instead I will write a looooong comment for you, like what I always do.

So here goes:

Stripes alone are risky to do, and I wouldn't recommend people to use black and white with stripes together. Because they contrast too much, it's straining the eyes of the reader.

Also, if you insist on using black and white, use a more softer tone of black to help minimise the contrast.

I like the picture however. The captions suits the picture.

Your credits are not thorough enough. Brushes from who? Which user? You also need to credit who you took the image from. Though deviantart allows people to download picture and brushes, the picture is still copyrighted.

Sorry for pulling down the ratings soooo much, but since I find so much faults (especially the contrast problem. Minus off one potato from you), I don't think it is worth 4 potatoes, let alone a 5.

Overall a 3.5 potatoes.
