I didn't bother with checking the code... is the background supposed to have an image? Because it showed up as white in my browser, which rendered the text virtually unreadable.

oh this is really nice. the whole point of a blog is to be able to write, so i like that uve allowed a lot of writing room. great job, keep it up

This is a very nice design...and the blog body is hardly squashed. If you can see an entire preview entry without scrolling, your fine. More than fine, don't worry about it, just keep doing what your doing and keep learning.

The picture is lovely and so is the colour. But you are forgetting the most essential part of any blog : Your text box! I think that no matter how lovely it is, as long as the space for you to write is as tiny and squashed up as that, it is ranked bad! Very bad! Next time, use less focus on your picture and more on the boxes because essentially its the boxes that matter and not the picture.
