Your image is rather plain.
Maybe you can add more stuffs in?
Paint is not a good software for blogskins, maybe you can choose those pictures that could blend your picture into the background?
On firefox, your navigation should be a heart right?
But i only see 'Y's.
Maybe you can use x or anything but not symbols?
Regarding your profile, rants and etc, the colours appeared as black on firefox. ):
Its something wrong with your code yeah.

To make better image quality on paint, change your file format to either 24 bit or png. (:

Now i'll use IE to test to give a fair judgement
Your navigator sides are pretty plain.
You can play with colours and some image on the profile sides rather than wordings and black. (:
