It's a simple and elegant layout; however, the placement of the layout is very strange and not very flattering. In addition, this placement apparently makes the main body scroll up and down, which is sort of weird, especially considering that there is nothing else to be seen. I am also not a big fan of modified cursors that consist of only words. You must consider that a blog is word-rich and that a word-based cursor would probably get in the way of reading a blog. It's a good try, and I think that you have good potential.
