Contrary to what half of your commentors have said, I do respect your love for imageless designs and I do believe that you can have a good design without any images. However, that means that you need to make your text, your borders, your everything that replaces the images pop out and stand alone. Right now, the placement and the accents of the text boxes are too weak to carry this layout. You need something stronger to support this layout without an image. I hope that you can find the balance!
