Why to bother making everybody belive that what they say in that book in true? Simple, 'cause that's what good literature is all about: making sure that the one who is reading you will buy what you wrote. If people couldn't make the difference between fiction and reality is because that's a freaking good book! And also because people don't know how to read. I think in this case, it's a problem of people's abitily of understanding what they read, not a problem of a book that is doing it's job.

About the skin...I think it's nice, but I'd have rather to see a dark background that would blend better with the image.

Hmmmm. I'm a Catholic as well. As far as I know, if everything about what Dan Brown said in his book was true, then what I believe in would be bull. Still, I don't think the fiction is really that bad. I take it as merely a thrilling murder fiction. What can two-three hours of reading the book do to our faith of years?
